Punjabi Chhole in 17 Seconds

Here's me making Punjabi Chhole in 17 seconds. It actually took me closer to 45 minutes. If making Punjabi Chhole took 17 seconds in real life, I probably wouldn't enjoy eating it as much.

For those curious about such things, the video was made using Gawker.

And the video quality was way better before I uploaded it to You Tube. I don't get it. If anyone reading this understands why a high quality Quicktime file looks like crap after it's uploaded to You Tube, let me know.

Song currently causing my temples to throb: Little Red Caboose (behind the train, train, train).

It happened with mine too. Perfectly fine in iMovie... then I export and it's all pixely.

I *think* it would be because YouTube reduces the file size when you upload to save storage space. We don't have a TV so have gotten used to watching most things on YouTube all pixely :)

Anon: Yeah, I thought that might be it too, but the original file size is waaaay under the limit for a You Tube video. Also, other video I've posted looked a lot better, even the 7+ minute one.

I wonder if it has to do with the rate at which things in the scene move? It's akin to uploading a video where the camera is always moving fast. The internet can't keep up with the rate of movement? I don't know. I'm a friggin' novice. I tried uploading to google video and the same thing happened. Blech.
