Wait, that's not an apple!

Today, I asked Anna if she wanted a tomato. She said yes. I was going to cut it up into pieces (like I do with most of her food) when I thought to myself, "Self, you're making too much work for yourself." (I think the word "self" a lot.)

So I put the tomato down on her tray and said, "Here you go."

She finished the whole thing (don't worry, I pulled that stem part off after taking these photos).

As she shoved the last bite into her mouth she pointed to the other three tomatoes we have sitting on the counter and said, "uh!" Which, if she didn't have a mouth full of food, would have sounded like, "more!"

Ha. It won't look this way after I blog another post (or is it post another blog?), but right now it looks like Anna's staring at the vegetarian starter guide ad on the side-bar. She's saying to all of you omnivores out there, "click on that ad over there. You know, the one I'm staring at? Yeah, click on it. You can order a vegetarian starter guide for free. At the very least you'll get some great recipes and information on how to eat better. C'mon. You know you want to."

She's a verbose little one year old.

Oh yeah, and even her fruit (yes, tomato is a fruit) is red. What an adorable little Communist. Don't you just want to squeeze those cute little Communist cheeks?

Hehe, she is so cute! It frustrates me to see omni babies stuffing themselves with junk food because their parents won't feed them decent food.

That's adorable! I could never stand tomatoes as a child unless they were cooked. Very cute!

Actually, tomatoes can be considered a vegetable or a fruit. By the same logic that tomatoes are fruit, cucumbers and squash are fruit, too. The differences where consumers (rather than, say, a biologist) are concerned are all about marketing.

Whatever Anna's eating in that photo, it's pretty cute.

Hey! I did a little sketch of the third picture- I needed some practice drawing cute babies. I love your blog, by the way- good stuff!
